Everyone out to fulfill the task given to them, except for Kimmi. Where she had gone, no one knew. Meanwhile, V began walking with Shin and for the longest time there was dead silence. It was very awkward. V began to slow her pace down as she began feeling weary and sick. "Hey V, pick up the pace!" Shin yelled ahead of V. V began walking faster, but the feelings didn't change. "Oh, that reminds me, I wanted to ask you something." Shin said. V began moving from right to left uncontrollably as she tried to keep the pace and focus of what Shin was saying. "The other day you muttered something, but I couldn't understand it because you were crying. Mind if I ask what it was you said?" questioned Shin. He wasn't paying very much attention or giving eye contact to V. It would make it that much easier on the both of them when talking so he didn't bother looking back as he waited for a reply. *thump* It wasn't like hearing their usual accustomed thump on the island. Meaning it wasn't a monster. Shin turned around only to notice V was laying on the ground. V began coughing as drips of vomit came out of her mouth. "V are you alright!" Shin yelled as he quickly began running to her aid. *cough cough* "I... I'm not feeling so...." V couldn't finish the sentence. "It's okay, don't worry. Let's get you back to the cave and find out what's wrong." Shin replied. He was worried, but he had to stay calm. He picked up V and began heading back to the cave. Everyone seemed to have been back except for Kimmi. "Move, coming through!" yelled Shin. They all looked as Shin ran into the caving holding V. They could only assume that something was wrong. Lox examined V as everyone waited patiently to figure out a solution. "Ah, for a woman so healthy she is dehydrated and hungry." Lox pointed out. "Hasn't she been eating though?" Anatsure questioned. "I don't know, but I'm telling you now, it certainly doesn't seem like it." Lox explained. "Sh...Shin, could I speak to you alone?" V coughed. Shin began walking over to V as he looked back signally everyone to exit the cave while they talked. "What is it V?" Shin asked.
"S.. Sai, th..that's the name." she muttured. "I don't understand what you're trying to say. Who is Sai?" Shin wondered.
"Kimmi!" yelled everyone from outside the cave. Shin heard her, but was too busy paying attention to V. V was becoming worse, her sentences were slurred and words had been skipped. "Your parents killed, meet her face to.... soon." V coughed
Quickly Shin caught on. "Saiyaka!? She's here on the island?!" Shin angrily replied. He wanted to leave and go searching, but he didn't want to leave V behind without knowing she'd be okay. Kimmi began to walk into the cave. "Get out! Can't you see where talking?" Shin yelled. Kimmi kept walking further in to get to V and Shin. "Don't worry, Lox explained to me what was happening. Give her this fruit. She probably hasn't been eating because of the food or rather creatures, we've been cooking." Kimmi explained as she handed Shin the fruit. She didn't know if it was the right thing to do, but there was no going back on it now. After all, the fruit was given to her so she could give it so someone she chose. Shin slowly began feeding V the fruit. "Don't worry, it's just a fruit that grew on the island." Shin replied. Little did he know this wasn't any ordinary fruit, but neither did Kimmi. V began to feel more enlightened but the feelings didn't stop there. Her wings began glimmering, let's not forget her horns too. They recognized it. The same thing that happened right before the plane crash. Slowly her eyes filled with red. She stood up and as they stared in awe. V stormed right out the cave and further out into the island then anyone had went. She didn't have control of herself nor would she remember anything that happened afterwards. "What type of fruit was that and where did you get it from?" questioned Shin.

I would like that the fruits name and type be unnamed, I have a place in the story for that.

Other than that, feel free to continue on however you please(whether they go looking for V or not just leave the fruit and what V's currently doing out of the story. Please & Thank you).

"Don't you think Shin is just being a prick?" I suddenly told Dan.

He looked up. Not that I was expecting an answer.

"Huh, yeah, maybe you're right," Dan replied.

More and more, Shin was becoming much of a pain in the ass. He was in desperation— for what? V and him might have some special relationship that I don't even give a single shit about, but it wasn't that. He was desperate about something more... drastic. Nevermind that, it was ticking me off!

"He thinks he's the boss, always telling us what to do. In reality, he's just slacking off so that he can have his own "personal space"," I griped, "I'm not really saying we SHOULD defy him and do whatever we want, but seriously, he's just acting as the "hero" to cover up something— something ugly. It doesn't even benefit anyone— it just creates more strife." I shook my head pitifully.

Dan nodded his head in agreement. I felt like he was a good friend of mine already. He was nearly, if not exactly, the same as me. Except for the silent part, of course. Cheerful and constantly happy no matter what, and always daring for an adventure.

"Why so silent?" I asked in that too-awkward silence.

"It's nothing, I'm just amused that you're actually speaking," he said with much beguilement.

"Oh, it's just that I'm not really comfortable around people I don't know much. Since we already know each other the discomfort has sort of... disappeared a little. I know I can trust you guys a bit. Anyway, let's just sit around and wait for a proper chicken to come or something. There isn't any point hunting MUTATED monsters like these, you'd only get constipation anyways. Shin doesn't even know if it's edible himself. So why trust him?" I shrugged.

"You mean wait for the sky to fall? Sure. I'm not fond of eating stuff like that anyway," he replies heartily.

Sometimes I wondered if I should tell him about the apple tree. But something was a little more... important to me. Worrying, in fact. I'm still worried even though I'm not concerned in that matter. Where did Kimmi go to...? By now she should have returned, but... I felt uneasy. Not only was there unease in the air but there was also... tranquility. To many it was sort of "normal" for them, but... there will always be stillness and tranquility before a storm. Only then, the scent of death appeared to me and lingered in the air coming from the cave. Death... loitering at this point of time? Who was it going to claim now? I hope it's not Kimmi. Or anyone else. But who am I to decide?

"We shouldn't go back to the cave. There's something I want to show you. Trust me on this," I told Dan, hiding my true intentions about why I wanted to get away from the cave.

He gave me carte blanche. I led him to the apple tree. I grabbed an apple I could easily reached and asked him to eat the fruit. He refused at first, but later ate it. He was surprised when he realized that it was in fact, edible. I still didn't know why.

"What the... the apples aren't mutated? Why..?" he said in shock.

"I don't know myself. What could an uncorrupted apple tree be doing in such a horrible place like this anyway?" I simply replied.

Uncorrupted apple tree... in a corrupted place. Finding inspiration and determination... in hopelessness. Perhaps the corruption of the island was an ineluctable fate. Perhaps... the people of island still kept on hoping and wishing to keep the dying world alive even when it was futile. Then truly... this is—WAS a paradise— a fantasia. The apples were the final wishes, the hopes of the people before it was defiled.

"...!" I couldn't help but gasp at the truth even when I realized it already.

Nobody really wanted the cataclysm to happen. Fate wanted it. It got what it wanted. Perhaps we are forced to live this way. Now, and for ever more. It was... pathetic. No... wrong word. I couldn't find a word for it at all. What could you even do about it? C'est la vie, indeed.

"Let's just get out of here and take some apples with us, but we'll walk further away from the cave. A storm is coming... and it's not going to be very pleasant," I warned.

What Kuro said was right, that Storm really did a number on the land since it's halfy flooded from wat im seeing

during the flood, Me and Kuro was in a tall tree with many branches and thank god that they wouldnt weak one too, "Man, this storm really doing somthing, It's kinda like one of those slightly clean swarms i saw" I sweatdropped, "Yeah, I said, this storm wasnt gonna look pleasant, Well we're just lucky to up this tree to avoid this" Kuro said, feeling glad to be in this tree, "Yea no kidding, but i think the others are probably worried bout us, dont ya think? I Turn to Kuro for a response, still sweatdropping bout this flood, "Yea i guess ur right......Hey, Can i ask u a guy-to-guy question?" Kuro turn to me, slightly smiling, "Shoot" I just simply answered

"I know this is none of my business but......Out of all the girls in the group, who do u like the most?" Kuro asked me, Now Smirking, "......Out of the girls in the group?" I sweatdropped at Kuro's question, "Yeah and i want a real answer" Kuro said, waiting for a answer, "........uhhhhh.....hmmmmm........do i have to answer?" I sweatdropped again, turning my eyes the other way, "Yeah, u do, u r just making harder for u by not answering" Kuro said, smirking

".......Aight i tell u but DO NOT TELL ANYONE!" I yelled quietly at him, being serious bout this, "I wont....mayb" He chuckled, I stared at him viciously, "Alright Alright, I Wont, I swear" He said, grinning, "Aight.......It's between...Kimmi and Anatsure..." I said, Slightly Blushing, "Wow Really, i though u was gonna say V r Aina but those two, Man, ur some boy to hav a interest for those two especially Kimmi, She like mysteriously gone all of a sudden" Kuro looking at me with a smirking like, surprised look, "......Yea, It's just.....that Im......curious bout those two, especially Kimmi, It's like she's hiding somthing from us but im gonna find out" I said, little bit serious bout that

"Well then, let me know how it go and how ur gonna make a move somehow" He said to me, smiling and smirking with his eyebrows rising up and down at the "Make a Move somehow" part, ".....Rigggghhhttt and just remember, it's between us, DONT go telling the other, ok?" I said, suspiciously staring at him with my finger pointing at him too, "Alright, like i said, I swear not to tell" he agreed not to tell, "Aight then" I turned and continued to look at this flood which is beginning to clear up

After a few hours ~Or many hours~, the flood cleared up completely, So We jumped down the tree and continued walking either to r away from the cave, but during the walk, I felt a weird presence or energy from my sword but I leaved it to figure out later

Man, I kinda had a Writer's Block During this but i was able to finish it from this point, the rest is ur to Write from <3
